When you visit Tampa Catholic High School, it won’t take you long to see Kevin Knox’s name somewhere on campus.
Currently an Atlanta Hawks forward and former Kentucky Wildcat, Knox recently donated $2 million to his former Florida-based high school, which was used to completely renovate the newly unveiled fieldhouse. His donation helped rebuild the old facility from the ground up, which has been aptly named the Kevin Knox II Fieldhouse.
“Tampa Catholic gave me two gifts that go with me on the court and in life. Coach (Don) Dziagwa allowed and encouraged me to grow as a leader and the school as a whole gave me an education that created more awareness of the world around me,” Knox said, according to the Patch.
