LEXINGTON – For the first time in Southeastern Conference play, Nick Richards looked human in Kentucky’s loss at Auburn Saturday.
With seven points and seven rebounds, Richards was not terrible, but he was outplayed by Auburn forward Austin Wiley, who recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, including seven offensive rebounds. The fact that the performance was seen as a disappointment for Richards given his struggles for much of his first two years at Kentucky says much about the high standard he has set during his junior season.
