The Kentucky basketball team on Tuesday unveiled new home uniforms for the 2022-23 season and much to the enjoyment of fans, there's not a checkerboard in sight on the Wildcats' new threads.
After UK unveiled new, checkerboard-less uniforms for its exhibition series in the Bahamas in early August, fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the team's new regular-season look. Head coach John Calipari piqued their interest with a tweet Monday night.
"I was just sitting here thinking maybe we should show the #BBN our new home uniforms tomorrow," Calipari wrote.
