After lurking outside the top 20 all season, Kentucky is now a top 15 team in the NET Rankings. After wins over Texas A&M and Auburn, the Cats climbed all the way to No. 14, seven spots higher than a week ago.
That being said, the NET is still perplexing. Even though Duke lost three of its last four games, all to unranked teams, the Blue Devils remain sixth. Michigan State, which has nine losses, is now seventh after wins vs. No. 18 Iowa and No. 9 Maryland, so clearly, recent results matter. Arizona, who isn’t even ranked in the AP Poll, is tenth.
