Kentucky baseball’s Luke Heyer was named National College Baseball Writers Association National Player of the Week after his incredible weekend at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic in Houston.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky senior infielder/outfielder Luke Heyer was named the National College Baseball Writers Association National Player of the Week after his tear through the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic in Houston, it was announced on Tuesday.
He was previously named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday, the first time he has earned that honor.
