Kentucky’s free throw woes are historically bad

It’s no secret Isaiah Briscoe struggles at the foul line, but just how bad is it?

It’s really bad.

In fact, it’s the worst ever.

After I (somewhat) joked yesterday that Briscoe could be the worst in history, Jon Scott over at BigBlueHistory.net went to his underground bunker of UK basketball statistics to look it up. Turns out, right now, Isaiah Briscoe is the worst free throw-shooting guard ever. Briscoe’s current 41.2 percentage is the lowest in school history among guards.

Granted, he has only played eight games in his career, but at this moment, he is in dead last in foul shooting out of all of the guards who have worn Kentucky blue.
