No. 20 Kentucky women’s soccer (8–1–1, 0–1–1 SEC) fell to the South Carolina Gamecocks (5–0–4, 2–0 SEC) 1-0 on Sunday, with the result serving as the team’s first loss all season.
The first half started off slow as both teams struggled to gain momentum offensively. There were a total of five fouls, four on South Carolina and one on Kentucky, while the Wildcats had six shots on goal and the Gamecocks had three.
