The Wildcats (11-2, 0-1 SEC) suffered a 99-72 loss to South Carolina on Thursday, their second loss of the year. The Lady Vols (11-2, 1-0) opened SEC play with a win over Missouri.
Kentucky was led by sophomore Rhyne Howard's 28 points, a career high, in the loss. She averages a team-high 21.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Tennessee's Rennia Davis averages a team-high 16.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
