LEXINGTON— The Kentucky women’s basketball team earned a trip to Bloomington, Indiana, where the sixth-seeded Wildcats will take on Princeton in the Bridgeport region. The teams will play on Saturday.
The SEC champion Wildcats (19-11) won their way into the tournament with a win over South Carolina in the SEC championship. Princeton (24-4) won the Ivy League.
The appearance will mark UK’s 17th in program history, and the second with Elzy as head coach, having lost to Iowa last year in the second round.
