It’s all smiles throughout the Bluegrass and BBN worldwide as the Cats end a disappointing regular season with 28-point win in Rupp Arena.
South Carolina traveled to Lexington to make up a game originally scheduled to be the conference opener but was canceled due to COVID complications on the Gamecocks’ side. The end result of the redo game is a 92-64 score in favor of the Cats, only the ninth victory all year for the Gold Standard of College Basketball. But maybe they found some magic before Nashville?
Davion Mintz and BJ Boston did most of the scoring for Kentucky in the victory, each with six made 3-pointers and a combined 41 points in the game.
