Kentucky will play either LSU or Tennessee in SEC Tournament 4th round

The Bat ‘Cats continue to float on the NCAA Tournament bubble, but another big win on Friday has the program riding positive momentum with more resume-building opportunities ahead. Kentucky Baseball, which entered the 2022 SEC Tournament as a 12-seed, knocked the eight-seed Vanderbilt Commodores out of the conference’s postseason with a dominant 10-2 victory.

With the win over the ‘Dores, Kentucky (32-25; 12-18 SEC) advances to the fourth round of the SEC Tournament where they will play on Saturday against the loser of Friday night’s contest between 4-seed LSU and top-seed Tennessee.

UK upset the Volunteers earlier this month in thrilling fashion (the only team this season to win a series against UT), winning two of three games at Kentucky Proud Park.
