Kentucky just can’t quit Eastern Michigan. FBSchedules.com is reporting that the Cats have agreed to another game with the Eagles on September 13, 2025 at Kroger Field. Kentucky will pay Eastern Michigan $1.4 million to come to Lexington, and hopefully, return to Ypsilanti with a loss.
By the time the 2025 season rolls around, this will be the fourth contest between the two schools. Kentucky hosted Eastern Michigan in 2017 and 2019, and will open the 2020 season vs. the Eagles on September 5 at Kroger Field. The Cats are 2-0 in the series, although they only won the 2017 contest by four points and lost Terry Wilson to a season-ending injury in last year’s game.
