Kentucky will face Bubba Parham again this season

The former VMI guard that scored 35 points, including ten threes, vs. Kentucky last season transferred to Georgia Tech over the summer and was just granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA, meaning he’ll be on the floor when the Cats host the Yellow Jackets on December 14. Parham transferred to Georgia Tech to be closer to home (Snellville, an Atlanta suburb) to help with family medical issues, hence the hardship waiver.

After torching Kentucky, Parham went on to a standout season at VMI. He led the Southern Conference with 21.4 points per game, scoring 30 points or more nine times, the most for a SoCon player since Steph Curry’s 15 30-point games in 2008-09.
