Kentucky Wildcats basketball recruit Kobi Simmons is in near daily contact with Wildcats head coach John Calipari. Simmons appears to be one of the Wildcats’ prime targets to play point guard for the class of 2016.
“It’s Kentucky — it’s not much you can say about them,” Simmons said. “It’s a great program to play under, with Coach Cal. We talk pretty much every day.”
Simmons will make a visit to Lexington in September according to ESPN Recruiting Nation’s Jeff Borzello.
Josh Jackson, the No. 3 small forward in ESPN’s top 100 for the class of 2016 has narrowed down his list, which currently includes the Kentucky baskeyball program.
