It’s been over two weeks since the Kentucky Wildcats season came to an end during this year’s Final Four in Indianapolis. Two weeks since Big Blue Nation had to suffer through another Duke University championship.
For those two weeks or so, I’ve been doing practically everything I can to forget that the Wildcats lost until finally accepting the obvious: 40-0 just wasn’t meant to be. Not this season anyway.
Because of the Jewish holiday of Passover, I wasn’t able to watch the game live on television. Any other time of the year and I would have been able to do so because it had started after the Jewish Sabbath had come to an end on Saturday night.
