While other NFL rookies are training with their respective teams, former Kentucky Wildcats’ Star Bud Dupree is back in Lexington, graduating from college.
Dupree earned his degree in four years at Kentucky, staying in school throughout the spring while most pro prospects drop out to concentrate on working out for the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, their pro days and often making many visits to individual NFL teams in April.
“He was talked about as a team leader,’’ Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said the day they drafted him.
