The Kentucky Wildcats will hold their home opener on Saturday when they host the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
The game will be at noon on Saturday from Kroger Field in Lexington.
The last time the Colonels visited Lexington, the Colonels nearly pulled off a monumental upset, falling in overtime 34-27. A Patrick Towles-Dorian Baker touchdown with 52 seconds remaining sent the game into overtime.
EKU dominated in the trenches that game, gashing the Wildcats for 180 yards on the ground and allowing only 55 yards.
This time around, Kentucky will be looking to pick up an easy win on their home field and move to 2-0 before hitting the road for the second time in three weeks to play their SEC opener in Columbia against South Carolina.
