The Kentucky Wildcats are known for their men’s basketball team. John Calipari has been leading the Wildcats’ bread and butter with near flawless execution.
In fact, before Mark Stoops arrived at Kentucky, the Wildcats’ football team was an afterthought.
But Stoops has changed the culture in Lexington, and the football team is now starting to pick up a little steam. They even had Alvin “Bud” Dupree get drafted No. 22 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
Stoops is not only sending players to the NFL now, but he’s turned the Wildcats’ football team into a family.
