What looked like it was going to be an awesome game for the Wildcats turned into them fighting for their lives. Their 33-17 lead dwindled and dwindled until a 33-33 tie towards the end of the fourth quarter. However, back-to-back penalties on the Louisiana Lafayette Rajun Cajuns and a killer stop by Kentucky’s Melvin Lewis allows the Wildcats to pull out a 40-33 win.
