Kentucky continues to fade away in the recruitment of Romeo Langford, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader. The five-star shooting guard is still predicted to pick either Louisville, Indiana or Duke, and it’s now considered “highly unlikely” he picks Kentucky.
Langford will cut his list sometime soon, Ben Roberts says. Kentucky could make that list, but that’s probably the closest UK will get to landing him. It’s unfortunate to see this recruitment go as far south as it’s gone.
Kentucky needs to land a shooting guard in 2018 with both Hamidou Diallo and Kevin Knox likely off to the NBA Draft next year, and Langford is regarded by most services as the best shooting guard in this class.
