The Kentucky Wildcats are hard at work to build on what’s already shaping up to be a special 2019 class.
John Calipari has already scored a pledge from Tyrese Maxey, the No. 1 shooting guard in 2019 by ESPN and Rivals (247 lists him as a combo guard). He considered a move into 2018, but for now, Maxey is planning to stay in 2019.
UK also has a commitment from small forward D.J. Jeffries, who is ranked 19th overall by ESPN. He was the first player to commit to the Cats in 2019.
Most of the other top-ranked players have already been offered by UK, including five-star wing Keion Brooks, five-star forward Matthew Hurt, five-star combo guard Jalen Lecque, five-star center James Wiseman, five-star forward Vernon Carey Jr.
