JUCO transfer Mychal Mulder is expected to be in Lexington this weekend and could make himself an official member of the Kentucky Wildcats for next season if the trip goes as planned.
Mulder is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound sophomore who led Vincennes University with 15.7 points per game, averaged 6.4 rebounds and sank 46.3 percent of his 3-point attempts (88 of 190) last season. He’s the number 13 rated JUCO player for next season and was a four star recruit out of high school. He led Vincennes to back-to-back JUCO Final Fours.
Vincennes University assistant coach Brian Davis confirmed Tuesday that Mulder has been offered a scholarship, will visit UK this weekend and could announce his decision – Indiana, Wichita State and Creighton are his other finalists – “very soon” after returning from Lexington.
