The Duke Blue Devils beat out the Kentucky Wildcats and a handful of others for the 2016 recruit, Jayson Tatum. Momentum seemed to be favoring Duke for much of his recruiting process, but he made it official today after his game at the Peach Jam.
ESPN ranks Tatum #2 overall for the 2016 class, and many are thinking that Tatum and Harry Giles will be a bonded pair, giving momentum to the Blue Devils for Giles, too.
The Wildcats aren’t out of the running for a strong recruiting class for 2016, however. They still have a handful of recruits, specifically.
