Let me reiterate this, I didn’t think Jamal Murray was going to choose Kentucky. Neither did a bunch of other people. Therefore, with this decision, the Wildcats have picked up one of the best recruits in the country and will have one of the best back courts in college basketball. The addition of Murray allows Alex Poythress to be a solid power forward, assuming he’s healthy.
Jamal Murray chose the Wildcats over the Oregon Ducks this afternoon. The 6-5, 180 pound combo guard from Athlete Institute Basketball Academy in Toronto, Canada will likely put the Wildcats back on top, you can’t count Calipari out when he’s missed on a handful of recruits.
