The Kentucky Wildcats Baseball squad lost the rubber match in today’s matinee game against Vanderbilt. The Cats were looking to jump back to their winning ways, and take back to back games against the SEC East leaders. Kentucky dropped the first game, but picked up the second in an offensive explosion. Tonight it was the Commodores who had the big bats tonight. This loss moves Kentucky to a 26-20 record and 11-12 in SEC play.
The Kentucky pitching staff has really stepped up their game a notch over the last few games. This game was Kentucky’s second straight game where they have struck out 13 batters.
