In one of Kentucky women’s basketball’s best performances of the season, the Wildcats pulled off a 92-86 overtime victory over No. 12 Mississippi State to move to 9-1 on the year.
Kentucky was led by superstar playmaker Rhyne Howard, who finished with a ridiculous 33 points on 10-19 shooting and 4-6 from three to go with 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal. 29 of her points came in the second half and in the overtime period.
KeKe McKinney added 11 points on 4-6 shooting and 3-4 from three to go with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in a team-high 40 minutes.
