The Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals will continue their gridiron series for the foreseeable future.
According to FB Schedules, the series between the two in-state rivals has gotten a five-year extension though 2027. It will continue to be the regular-season finale for both teams. The current deal was set to expire following the 2022 season.
Kentucky currently leads the all-time series 16-15. including two wins in the last three matchups. That came after the Wildcats suffered five-straight defeats to the Cardinals (thanks, Joker).
But that came after Kentucky enjoyed a four-game winning streak.
