Brooklyn DeLeye was officially announced as the SEC Player of the Year for the first time in her collegiate career.

DeLeye led the team in kills per set with 4.74, which ranked ninth in the nation, with a hit percentage of .282. She also added .33 blocks per set on the defensive end.

Her most impressive achievement this season, however, was becoming just the fourth player in school history to record 30 or more kills in a match, becoming the first to do it in only four sets of action.

With the win, DeLeye became the sixth player in school history to win the award, joining teammate Emma Grome, who won back in 2022.
