The University of Kentucky has reached out to the No. 1 point guard in the class of 2020.
According to Trinity International Prep head coach Greg Lockridge, Joel Justus was out in Las Vegas to visit five-star prospect Daishen Nix this weekend.
Nix, a 6-foot-5 facilitator originally from Alaska, is considered the No. 13 overall prospect and top junior point guard in the nation. He holds offers from Kansas, Gonzaga, Alabama, UCLA, LSU, and Washington, among several others. With the AAU season just getting started, a scholarship from Kentucky could certainly come sometime this summer.
Josh Gershon of 247 Sports says Nix is an “outstanding facilitator” with “elite vision” and “strong national instincts.
