Kentucky Volleyball bowed out of the 2021 NCAA Tournament in disappointing fashion, but the overall season was anything but. On Wednesday afternoon, two Wildcats earned significant postseason honors.
The American Volleyball Coaches’ Association tabbed senior outside hitter Alli Stumler and freshman setter Emma Grome as second-team All-Americans. Stumler was tabbed as a first-team All-American in 2020 and second-teamer in 2019.

Stumler was the AVCA’s Southeast Region Player of the Year, in addition to being voted as the Southeastern Conference’s Player of the Year, making it the fifth year in a row that a Kentucky player has won both of those awards.
