If you were hoping Kentucky would turn it around on the road vs. Georgia, well, I’m sorry. The Cats turned in another stinker today in Athens, losing to the Bulldogs 27-3. It was much uglier than that.
Patrick Towles was 8-21 for 96 yards and 2 interceptions. The offensive line and receivers didn’t offer much help, but down 24 points with no momentum in the fourth quarter, the staff finally gave Drew Barker a shot. Barker was only in for one series, but looked okay, completing one pass for five yards.
The offense had no life, only putting up 180 yards; special teams actually showed some, forcing a fumble on a kickoff…until they were called for being offsides.
