It is with a heavy heart that we pass along the following news. Kentucky tight end/fullback Drew Schlegel has entered the transfer portal, according to Derek Terry.
The redshirt senior tight end played in all 13 games last season, notching his first career catch vs. Florida for 12 yards. He also had two kick returns last season, one for three yards at Mississippi State and one for six yards vs. Louisville. In his sophomore season, he played in 11 games and totaled four tackles on special teams. He made the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll three of his four years and was on the Dean’s List his freshman year.
