One of the best players remaining on Kentucky’s 2021 football recruiting board is nearing a decision.
Rayshaun Benny, a four-star lineman from the Detroit suburb of Oak Park, revealed Tuesday afternoon that he will announce his college decision Sunday, Oct. 25. Just a few days ago Benny trimmed his list of schools to four: Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Kentucky.
The 6-foot-5 275-pound lineman is the nation’s fourteenth-ranked defensive tackle and No. 188 player overall according to the 247 Sports Composite. Currently all six Crystal Ball picks and nine Rivals FutureCast predictions are for Michigan. Kentucky’s chances appear bleak, until you consider this:
Steve Clinkscale has been recruiting Benny since he was in middle school.
