Kentucky takes back Governor’s Cup in 56-10 rout

It doesn’t take much vs. Louisville, but Kentucky’s offense looked the best it has in ages. Terry Wilson finished 17-23 for 261 yards and three touchdowns passing and 79 yards and one touchdown rushing. Lynn Bowden caught two of those touchdowns and Josh Ali the other. Benny Snell had 18 carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns before being slowed by a lower back bruise in the second half. AJ Rose and true freshman Kavosiey Smoke also had rushing touchdowns, adding to a very fun night at Cardinal Stadium.

All in all, Kentucky outgained Louisville 601-305, with 29 first downs to the Cards’ ten.
