Kentucky swim and dive took its 15th consecutive sweep against Cincinnati on Saturday, Jan. 18, where the women dominated 179-116 and the men took their victory with a score 164-136.
The standout swimmer on the men’s swim side was junior Ryan Merani, who took the men’s 200-meter individual medley with an NCAA B-standard time of 1:45.50, the 100-meter butterfly and the 200-meter freestyle (free).
On the diving side, Kristy Pfaff was dominant on the women’s 1-meter dive, where she took a first place score of 309.75 — a score that places her as ninth-highest in school history.
