For Heroes’ Day, UK will honor all active and reserve members of the armed forces along with police, firefighters and first responders. One complimentary ticket will be available to each hero online through GovX (for more details, click here). Tentative plans include a football-field sized American flag for the national anthem, which will be presented by the UK Air Force ROTC and UK Army ROTC; recognition of personnel throughout the game; and military VIPs in attendance.
Tomorrow will be the first-ever Scout Day, with specially priced tickets for scout groups across the state and custom UK Football Scout Day patches for the first 500 attendees:
