John Calipari and the UK coaching staff continue to ramp up communication with 2021 five-star guard Kennedy Chandler.
According to Jake Weingarten of StockRisers.com, Calipari spoke with Chandler – the No. 14 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings – on Thursday.
Back in April, the five-star guard trimmed his list to five, with Duke, Kentucky, Memphis, North Carolina, and Tennessee all making the final cut.
According to Chandler, his final decision will come from this list at a later date.
“It was a really tough decision because I had a really strong list of 10 schools, but, at the end of the day, I felt like these five schools were the best options for me,” Chandler said in a recent Sports Illustrated blog post.
