Kentucky softball secured its third top 10 victory of the season on Friday, April 12, defeating No. 7 Georgia 7-5 at John Cropp Stadium.
The win speaks to Kentucky’s ability to win against high-ranked opponents.
Junior Taylor Ebbs shined with a notable 3-for-4 performance at the plate, contributing four runs batted in, including a pivotal three-run homer.
Ebbs was the cause for a game-deciding play that occurred during the bottom of the second inning when she smashed a three-run home run, extending the Wildcats’ lead to 6-0.
Ebbs’ clutch performance with two outs proved to be decisive for Kentucky.
