UK signee Skal Labissiere earned the No. 1 spot in Scout.com’s final class of 2015 player rankings, which were released Tuesday.
Labissiere — a 7-footer from Haiti — jumped up from No. 3 after a spectacular showing on the post-season all-star circuit last month. He was not allowed to play for his Memphis high school this past season because of Tennessee transfer rules.
Scout.com director of recruiting Evan Daniels wrote Tuesday that Labissiere has proven himself to be “the best long-term prospect” in the class of 2015.
“At his size, Labissiere is equipped with the tools you look for in an elite post player,” Daniels said.
