LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky senior catcher Alonzo Rubalcaba went grand and came home with an equally impressive award, as he was named Southeastern Conference co-Player of the Week along with South Carolina’s Braylen Wimmer, the league announced Monday.
He joins Chase Estep as Kentucky’s second winner of the award this season and league-best 19th Player/Pitcher of the Week since coach Nick Mingione took over in 2017.
