Kentucky says MSU’s size “jumps off the page,” physicality needed in Starkville

If Kentucky wants to get back in the win column to open conference play, they’ll need to bring physicality and toughness in Starkville.

With six players on the roster listed at 6-foot-7 or taller and five players weighing 240 pounds or more, the Mississippi State Bulldogs are a force inside, but also boast gritty guard talent on the perimeter. After losing back-to-back games to start the season, MSU has won six of its last seven games, including a road victory Wednesday evening against then-undefeated Georgia.

Those looking for a quick-and-easy victory to turn things around will be sorely disappointed when the ball is tipped at Humphrey Coliseum Saturday afternoon.
