Kentucky rugby officially kicked off the National Collegiate Rugby playoffs as the Cats had a matchup against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks.
Kentucky would ultimately win the quarterfinal matchup 63-17.
With the win, Kentucky continued its dominance as it is currently on the journey to become back-to-back champions.
Going back-to-back is no easy task as the Cats had to face a scary Saint Joseph’s offense. Entering the game, one worry the Cats had was dealing with the fast-paced Hawks.
Despite that, Kentucky had no fear and stepped up when it mattered the most to ultimately advance to the semifinals in the playoffs.
