Kentucky Reportedly Showing Interest in 3-Year Professional Player Or Ashkenazi

The Kentucky men’s basketball staff is reportedly showing interest in Or Ashkenazi, a three-year professional player from Israel.

Ashkenazi has played three seasons for Hapoel Yossi Avrahami Eilat in Israel’s National League. He averaged 4.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game during the 2023-24 season.

Joe Tipton of On3 reports that a number of programs are showing interest in Ashkenazi, including Ohio State and Auburn.

After three years playing professionally in Israel, 6-foot-5 shooting guard Or Ashkenazi is exploring the college route, per his agent Yuval Shaham (@yuval59).

The 21-year-old currently plays in the Israeli premier pro league.
