Kentucky has been slow-playing the transfer portal this offseason, but a new name just up popped on the radar.
On Sunday morning, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports tweeted that Southern California transfer guard Tre White has heard from roughly two dozen schools since entering his name into the portal on April 19. Among the schools to reach out? The Kentucky Wildcats.
White spent just one season at USC where he averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Trojans while starting in 29 of his 33 appearances.
