John Calipari has only issued one scholarship offer for players in the 2021 recruiting class.
But with the 2019 class wrapping up shortly, he is certainly shifting his attention to those rising high school juniors. The latest player to hear from Coach Cal is power forward Josh Taylor out of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Originally from Columbia, Georgia, Taylor is currently a 4-star player that is ranked No. 47 in the class by the 247Sports composite rankings. He must have done something in his sophomore season or on the Nike circuit to catch Kentucky’s eye, because they reached out to Taylor Wednesday night, according to Jeff Borzello.
