As the spring recruiting period comes to a close, very few 2020 basketball recruits did better for themselves than Deivon Smith.
Smith is the No. 48 player in the country and the No. 6 point guard, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. However, look for both of those numbers to jump over the summer.
Smith plays for the Adidas Celtics on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit, and he has show himself to be a top prospect in the class. At just 5-11, Smith certainly has to compensate against bigger guards. With his athleticism and work ethic, however, he has shown himself to be among the best in the last few weeks.
