Houston sophomore guard Caleb Mills entered the transfer portal yesterday, and according to one report, Kentucky has already reached out to the AAC Preseason Player of the Year.
247 Sports’ Brandon Jenkins says Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, and Texas have expressed interest in Mills, who is averaging 9.8 points this season on 44.8% shooting while battling an ankle injury. Mills was poised for a big year at Houston, but with guards Quentin Grimes (formerly of Kansas) and Marcus Sasser both averaging in double figures, his production and minutes have decreased. He averaged 13.2 points last season.
