Kentucky pushes past IUP 86-64

Reid Travis led the way for the Cats with 22 points and 14 rebounds, by far the most consistent player on the floor. PJ Washington was close behind with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Tyler Herro bounced back from his cold performance vs. Transy with 17 points, including 5-7 from beyond the arc.

All of that being said, for the second straight game, the Cats looked sloppy, with too many turnovers and defensive breakdowns. John Calipari will have plenty of teachable moments to use as we barrel towards Tuesday’s season opener vs. Duke.
