The Kentucky Football team is banding together once again to help Chris Oats. On July 23, over a dozen Wildcats will take part in the Chris Oats Football Skills Camp at Beechwood High School in Fort Mitchell. Oats, a Cincinnati native, will also be in attendance. The former Cat is currently in Florida rehabbing from a stroke he suffered in May 2020 that left him wheelchair-bound. A significant portion of the proceeds from the camp will go to his mounting medical bills and rehab and the Chris Oats Foundation, which supports families of young stroke victims.
