It’s officially, official: Jemal Singleton will be the Kentucky Wildcats next running backs coach.
Reports initially surfaced on Sunday that the Cincinnati Bengals’ assistant would head down I-75 to join Liam Coen’s first offensive staff. The University of Kentucky confirmed Thursday morning that Singleton will coach the Cats talented group of running backs in the fall of 2021.
“We are excited to welcome Jemal Singleton to our program,” head coach Mark Stoops said. “He came highly recommended from (UK defensive coordinator) Brad White, who I highly respect, as they worked together in the NFL. After I did the research on him, saw his background, and visited with him, it was a no-brainer.
